I hope they make it RWD in standard form. And of course have dual motor. But packaging might be a concern depending on how small this gets. That would be insane for a hatch though and at the pricing, far superior performance over any of those FWD EV's.

Sizing/weight I'm thinking this is Model 3 architecture...at least I want to believe. Model 3 isn't that big. They could do a Model 2 hatch out of it and maybe save money on having to start entirely from ground up with Model 2.

Upon further thought, maybe they do want smaller and lighter to focus as much on efficiency as possible, and the lower price point.

Trust me, people will still be complaining about how its overpriced, doesn't travel 1000 km on a single $7 charge, and 0.1 mm difference in panel gaps.

It's a photoshop. Nobody knows what a vehicle like this would actually look like.

Reminds me of the unofficial Model 3 renders from back in the day.

Yeah, pretty obvious this is a fan based render.

You'd be surprised at how many people don't realize this.

I'm loving the production CT now (took a while) ;)

I don't love the Model S Plaid (virtually no exterior changes from existing Model S)

Yeah, I wish they made the Plaid a bit more distinguishable from the standard Model S.

Yeah, I still remember gazillion of fan drawings/fan art/whatever you call it, and nobody got it right.
Everyone imagined it to be an aerodynamic truck version of Model S, especially based on the pic of lightbar Musk tweeted.
Kudos to Tesla for being able to keep it secret right until the unveiling, and, obviously, going with complete opposite of what we see on the roads today.

I don't doubt it will look something like that.

Or it could go the other way and be like an i3.

Or be something totally freaky and untesla-like that will rock headlines for years to come.

If Tesla came out with a small vehicle with AWD for a reasonable price I'd honestly consider trading my Golf R in.. Not many "small" fun vehicles available.

Like anything automotive-rumour, better to just ignore everything until there's an official press release.
