Testosterone replacement therapy with Onmen.ca or Deerfields Clinic

Does anyone have experience dealing with either of these two services for TRT. Onmen seems to be new and optimized for telehealth, whereas Deerfields is a real clinic in Toronto that also offers telehealth for the purposes for TRT. I am going to go through the consultation process with one of them, but I want to make the right decision if I end up actually needing the treatment.

Curious why you think you need trt? I dont see any difference between clinics. If youre low T youre low T and you get prescribed what you need. They will do a bunch of tests to see where youre at.

Unfortunately, you have to become the best advocate for yourself and lean about how the hormonal system works. The doctors and the system in general doesn’t care about you. Period.

The reference range is too broad, and many men feel the ill effects such as depression, muscle loss. Loss of libido way before reaching the lower limit.

I was thinking about both of these but am leaning towards onmen. Have you chosen one and what is your experience?

Save yourself the trouble and money

I tried their TRT therapy for 9 months. My testosterone never went up, there was barely any communication with anyone and sometimes no responses unless you finally complained.

They charged me $200 quarterly "for nurse checkups" which I unsuccessfully was unable to cover with my or my wife's insurance policies.

I never felt any difference at the beginning after 3 months and asked for help with my dose, but due to their checkup policy, I had to spend $400 in checkup costs before they would even adjust anything since they only check you quarterly.

My prescription was an additional $170 on top monthly, for the 150mg topical trt cream I was prescribed. My testosterone never went up steadily and I never felt any physical change after 9 months of frustration.

It really felt like they really didn't know what they were doing or cared and we're just hiring anyone to talk to you.

I finally had enough of their lack of communication, absurd charges and no results.

The cancellation was equally anti-climactic and the nurse I was dealing with didn't even bother to reply to my last two emails, which is why I left.

I am now reaching out to an endocrinologist referred to by my family doctor In hopes of getting proper help.

Do not waste your money which this company. Ask your family doctor for a proper referral to a proper professional.
