Anyone have any comments about the sondergaard or 1670 polyester suits. Need something to wear 2 or 3 times a year. I've read polyester isn't a great material, but for super infrequent use it shouldn't be bad right?

It won’t breathe as well as wool suits so if you’re wearing it during summer it may not be as comfortable. I’d do with a cheap wool suit like the CK - they’re not bad for the price.ahumanbeing wrote: ↑Apr 14th, 2019 8:00 pmAnyone have any comments about the sondergaard or 1670 polyester suits. Any idea what the difference between slim and extreme slim is with them?freakyflow wrote: ↑Apr 14th, 2019 8:36 pmIt won’t breathe as well as wool suits so if you’re wearing it during summer it may not be as comfortable. I’d do with a cheap wool suit like the CK - they’re not bad for the price.

The extreme slim is in my opinion slim fit and slim fit is a regular fit. I found CK's normal slim fit to be a bit too boxy. I don't wear suits often so I dont remember my size exactly but at 6'0, 190lb, ~13% BF, I wore a 42R (?) in the extremely slim. Even then, the sides would require tailoring. Best to try them in store and order online.ahumanbeing wrote: ↑Apr 14th, 2019 9:05 pmAny idea what the difference between slim and extreme slim is with them?

Extreme slim is slimmer than 'slim'. TBH it will be different for everyone. For example, a 40R Slim fits me with the waist being very modest in slimness, and I shorten the sleeves but with Extreme Slim at 40R, it fits me perfectly (subjective) with no alterations to sleeves and the waist is perfect. Just as reference, I'm 5'10, 175lbs.

Do they tend to have any sort of flash sales with this stuff? Will the suit prices be the same throughout the duration of bay days?

Some items are on sale for the entire 21-day period; but others are on sale for an evening (as part of a BAYNIGHTS promo), a weekend or just one week.

I wouldn't wear polyester suits even once a year. There are cheap Calvin Klein suits that are 100% wool for like less than 200$ when on sale. I'd get these insteadahumanbeing wrote: ↑Apr 14th, 2019 8:00 pmAnyone have any comments about the sondergaard or 1670 polyester suits. Need something to wear 2 or 3 times a year.
