[The Bay] Casper mattresses 40% off at the bay

Casper mattresses seem to be 40% off at the bay.: https://www.thebay.com/content/content. ... 4302024015
- click on Shop Now to see the discounted prices.

*** sorry, looks like the 5% from Rakuten does not apply to mattresses - as pointed out by kenchau in post 29
https://www.rakuten.ca/hudsons-bay (Special Conditions: Cash Back is not available on mattress purchases). Although it is weird because on that same page it mentions a deal for $300 off Serta mattress plus 5% cashback, so YMMV

May be able to PM Casper website today (Monday) directly (Thanks to djwill's post #50 on p4 and ninasushiroll's confirmation post #56)

The coupon EXTRA does not work (Casper is excluded).

example of prices: Casper double - $657; twin 537 ; twin XL 597

Limited sizes on the regular one (double, twin, twinXL - can use two of these to make a King).

No discounts on accessories.

I understand there is great debate over whether these are good or not (see earlier thread: https://forums.redflagdeals.com/the-bay ... e-2205802/ ) - each to their own!
Also this article about Casper was referenced a few times:https://fortune.com/2017/08/23/casper-m ... ilip-krim/

Note that some people in that thread mentioned it was very difficult to do a return via the Bay (especially see posts at the end of the thread).

Casper website currently has 10% off with 2% Rakuten rebate: https://casper.com/ca/en/mattresses/cas ... erial=foam

It doesn't matter if racing never changes. What matters is if we let racing change us.

Great price. Was shopping for a new mattress a few months ago, didn't see those that cheap for sure.

Can anyone provide feedback on the hybrid mattress? Just wondering your opinion on it, the firmness, how you sleep and overall opinion. Thanks in advance!

We have a queen The Casper, had it for about 2 years...cant say enough good things about it. I suffer from back and hip pain, and it's been wonderful for me.

I should check out the bay to check these mattresses out. Honestly I don't even know what to look for when I shop for it. I feel ignorant to the true comforts of a good mattress.

I slept on a Casper original for three months before I switched to a hybrid. It's worth it for side sleepers to get the hybrid since it's on the softer side of medium firm unlike the orignal which was slightly too firm. I'm not a mattress expert but the hybrid is decent overall. Returning the original was simple through the bay. Try it and return it if you don't like it, it's a 100 day period.

Yeh, thanks OP! Great prices, and timing couldn’t be better.

After reading Consumer Reports ratings on mattresses, I had decided I wanted the Casper Hybrid (rated number 2), but couldn’t justify the price.

Ordered the Queen Hybrid, and saved about $550 after taxes and Rakuten.
