Be sure to use online code FRIENDS for an extra 15% off on top of the 25%. Also ebates is 5% for Hudson's Bay. This is an amazing deal if anyone is looking for a Seiko.

I was at the Hudson Bay downtown Toronto at Yonge/Queen yesterday, and they had these new models out on display with the same deal (25% + 15%). They are also including a free watch travel case with a Seiko purchase.

Are these not submersible at all?
They are rated for 100m, so If you are constantly diving below 100m (300feet), then yeah you could say these are 'not submersible at all'.

tempting. hey do tick off a lot of boxes. The lack of iso rating is fine for me, but a screw down crown would have been nice imo. I like the black PVD and the green textured dial ones. Just hard to figure out if this is a novelty watch or if this will be part of the regular rotation down the road. I wish they hadn't messed with the "5" though.

edit: does anyone know if the travel case is only offered at the eaton centre Bay or is it also at other locations?

Wow. They are copying the citizen eco drive diver.

Not really, as per title these are more of an homage to the ever popular SKX007/SKX009's which were released in 1996. This kind of design goes back even further:

they're actually copying their own SKX line, which they recently discontinued. These watches may be an attempt to fill that gap.

edit: nice yellow pogue in your avatar OP!

You should do more research before embarrassing yourself further.
Depth ratings for watches are famously inaccurate.
A watch rated for 100m is not even considered a diving watch and manufacturers will only advise to go swimming but not diving with it.
Watches rated for 200m or more are only recommended for diving.
The original skx watches are rated for 200m but not these new Seiko 5 sports.
