[The Bay] Philips Sonicare products on sale - Online Only *YMMV*

The Bay has all of their Sonicare stuff on sale, a lot of their older lines, if anyone is in the market for a new toothbrush.
Buying things you don't need is what RFD is all about.

Hence Y M M V!!

You try finding a 4100 for $50, other than the black one on Amazon. Even there, the white/pink ones are at $66.

I dont get the YMMV part? You say it's online only? Online prices are the same for everyone. Everything I see is cheaper on Amazon

Don't they own Clarisonic too? (thought the deal thread yesterday mentioned that)

Are they closing down the toothbrush business too?

No. Clarisonic is owned by L'Oreal, not Philips.

Probably some time after this "hot" deal disappears into RFD's abyss.

Ah ok.

I didn't think L'Oreal actually manufactured them, though

Also:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clarisonic :
"Clarisonic was founded by David Giuliani, Robb Akridge, Steve Meginniss, Ward Harris and Ken Pilcher in 2000. Giuliani, Clarisonic's CEO, is the former co-founder and CEO of Optiva, which developed the Sonicare line of toothbrushes. Giuliani sold Optiva to Philips Oral Healthcare in 2000."

Online in the sense that the items in question are n/a in the stores.

And YMMV, because depending on which model you are looking at, may or may not be the deal for you. As I posted above, try finding the older 4100 Sonicare for $50 ANYWHERE.

The black and white 4100 Sonicare are 49.99 on Amazon and can also be price matched at Canadian Tire. Everything else on The Bay in the Sonicare line is of equal or lesser price on Amazon

This is not a deal and your definition of YMMV is skewed, sorry sir

Best deal is the entry model for $29.99
All other models are just superfluous.

I just bought a 4100 directly from Philips for $54 CDN with free shipping, so not much of a deal at the Bay for anything it looks like...
