[The Bay] (Some Made in Japan) HOT Zojirushi Rice Cooker, Water Boiler, Mug & More

CODE: HBHOME

Hudson's Bay is having all Zojirushi cookware on sale for 20% off!
Time to use my previously bought 15% or 10% off giftcard from ebay.

Some high end rice made in Japan rice cooker is hardly onsale but this time is also 20% off!

For example NP-HCC10 5 cup induction heat made in Japan rice cooker:
https://www.thebay.com/zojirushi-5-cup- ... irushi&N=0
(The picture is wrong i believe, the picture on the bay's website is NP-HCC18, means 1.8 liters or 10 cups, however it should be 5 cups or NP-HCC10 instead.)

Previous Thread: amazon-ca-zojirushi-np-hcc10-rice-cooke ... 9-2286720/

Rakuten: 2.5% but not allowed to use gift card
GCT: 2.4%
www.airmilesshops.ca: 1mile/$20, plus 50 miles if spend over $100

EDIT: HBHOME is 20% off

Their tumblers look nice, but does anyone know if they come with lids?

The Bay has the 3L Zoji water boiler at a list price of 239 - 15% with the code. You can get the 4L on Amazon right now for $219 which if you're a tea fiend like me is probably a better deal.

Thanks for sharing.

Not sure about others, but the rice cookers are cold deals.

The Hybrid boilers are still not worth getting from this sale. Been around $200 in past sales.

Sidenote, anybody know where to get a replacement bowl for these? We have a NL-BS05 and the actual cooking pot that goes in the machine is chipping pretty severely.

has the 5.5 cup ever been that low? I've only seen the 10 cup (ns-zcc18) go that low on walmart/amazon/etc which I bought last time around.

from what I can tell in my research, the 10 cup has barely a bigger footprint than the 5.5 anyway so if it comes up, you might as well buy the 10 cup version. you can still cook as little as 1 cup in the 10 cup version anyway.

What's the advantage of the hybrid boilers compared to the other hot water dispensers?

They maintain the correct temperature while using less energy than the traditional water boilers.

I can't believe the difference between the 3L and 4L MIJ Micom hot water dispensers is only $10. I really only need the 3L model in terms of capacity but the price makes it hard to justify only the 3L in this case... And Amazon sells the same model for $209.99 and 219.99 for 3L & 4L respectively. Does the Bay price match other retailers?

Normally, it will say. The item that OP linked to says "Made in Japan" in the description. It's usually a selling "feature" so they will list it as such. If it says "Imported", it's most likely from China. (https://www.thebay.com/zojirushi-three- ... irushi&N=0)

(The same goes with clothing as well. Usually, companies will advertise made in Canada, Japan, US, Italy, or Portugal. Otherwise, Imported means China, Bangladesh, Vietnam etc.)
