These are nice to have for that first year, after that we found we rarely use them. They also make great presents.

Speaking as a two-time parent, this still seems amazingly overpriced.

As swaddles go, they're really bad. Too light and don't stay tight. I'd recommend the SwaddleMe or the hospital swaddles (the best!)

All of our baby blankets (with the exception of the ones we got at our baby shower) were from value village for like $1-2 each. Nice Muslin cotton ones too, although I agree, muslin cotton isn’t the best for swaddling.

Note - these are aden by aden + anais and not aden + anais swaddles. They differ in size and are smaller than the original aden + anais swaddles. They are also usually cheaper than the aden + anais ones.

I bought these before my baby was born given all the rave reviews, then my kid ended up hating swaddles. That said, these are great as car seat covers to keep the light out when they sleep, or using as a light blanket when they are on the bouncer or in the car seat (after buckling up). It's breathable and stores well in a diaper bag.

FYI Amazon also has the actual Aden & Anais ones (not Aden by Aden & Anais which are supposed to be a slightly lower line) for a very similar price once in a while.
