My mind is telling me YEEEHEEEYEESSS, But my BODY... My BODYYY is telling me YEEEHEESSS... Baaabyyy!

Smart TV's are overrated. That's what a dedicated PC is for, which is waay more versatile and HDR is really only a factor on way higher end TV's with higher Nit's.

You'll need to find a wall big enough for this guy.

I hate Haier, but 86" for $2000 has me reassessing things.

Haier isn't that bad. I have their 65" 4K TV and it really is quite good. It just comes down to spending another $1100 for 20".

500 watts to power this thing. Thought it would need more power than that.

Not worth the money only thing it has going for it is size, the actual specs of this tv sucks.

at the end of the day guys, you have to think...why in the world would an 86 inch tv be only 2000, it is either they discovered new technology or youre paying the price in quality, and at 86 inches, you're paying a lot of quality. I can't even imagine having to return this shit to the store

Imagine this, a 55" 4K Haier from Costco, now downgrade the specs further and blow it up until pixels are the size of dimes.

Size competition strokes the male ego, but admittedly, this is garbage even for Haier.

And I get it, football games are a thing. Get a projector.

one thing that scares me, is that if you take a look at the specs, it says its 200 pounds?

If you havent started having issues, consider yourself lucky. Seems like a decent number are having issues with their tv after 1 year (check out various tv threads, ie rca, hisense, etc since a lot of them will ask how that tv compares to Haier).

Check out the mega thread... if you dig through it, im sure there are a decent number of RFDers who returned their TV due to various issues.

No first hand experience since i consider Haier as another RCA and would prefer to avoid the hassle even if it means missing out on a possible better deal.

So tempting but I'll wait until the 85" beast from Samsung are $3000ish
