DEAL 2:
(Thanks to cheapbastage)
Updated Feb 18

The Google mini is $20 off and the Chromecast is $5 off. Certainly not the best deal for a Chromecast as they go on and off sale all the time, but if you are looking for one maybe with the $25 off this deal is for you.

Since the code is proportional it will reduce the prices to:
Mini - 45.14 (Reg. 79.99)
Chromecast - 30.09 (Reg. 44.99)
Batteries - 0.74

Google Home Mini + Chromecast + Filler (0.99 cent AAA):

Add 1 Google Home Mini (Charcoal or Chalk) Currently on sale for $20.00 off

Add Charcoal: 59.99 (Reg. 79.99)
https://www.thesource.ca/en-ca/brands/g ... /108071691
Or a Chalk: 59.99 (Reg. 79.99)
https://www.thesource.ca/en-ca/brands/g ... /108071690

Add Google Chromecast: 39.99 (Reg. 44.99) Ends March 1
https://www.thesource.ca/en-ca/tvs-and- ... /108041297

Add Filler (This filler is AAA batteries)
https://www.thesource.ca/en-ca/battery- ... /108047392

Apply code you received from email sign up ($25 off $100)

75.97 plus tax is $85.85

A total of 50.00 off before taxes!

Don't forget 1% cb at ebates dot ca! (Thanks mikka2017)

Don't forget to go through Airmilesshops.ca and grab a few extra airmiles.

Now, you know me, so I am going to suggest a few single combos to get the greatest savings with a Google Home Mini after I post this.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Anyone looking for home light automation with their new Google Home Mini there is a YMMV deal. and if you don't mind leg work and price matching, there is a viable deal in this thread:

https://forums.redflagdeals.com/home-de ... #p28952196

It is for 3 colour Hue bulbs and a bridge for 99.00. I managed to grab it last night again and posted local receipts for Toronto/Vaughan on page 3.

Good Luck

Please....?

I wish there was a button like the thumbs-up but instead it was a reply with the time machine quote. Since there isn't (yet) here is my response...

If you can show me where to get a google home mini for 39.99 I would love it, in fact, even if you had a time machine, they sold out everywhere and were impossible to get. BUT you are of course correct, 2 months ago they were 39.99 - A crazy HOT deal compared to todays prices. Which, as I am sure you know, is $7.50 cents cheaper than the deal I just posted.

So, since the regular price on these is and has been 79.99 until recently at the source and Costco, the sale price of 59.99 is a $20 drop for anyone looking for one.

Even Kijji prices are higher!

So unless you have a time machine or a crystal ball to let me know when they will (if ever) got to 39.99 again, then for people looking to buy these this is a great deal.

.... Please ...... correct me if anything I just said is wrong.

In the meantime, I am only posting this to help out people wanting to save a few bucks, I don't profit from helping out, so if this deal isn't good enough for you ....please......... post a better price for these (Maybe you have a future deal?).

I would be interested.

Good deal. Better than what I ended up getting it for from Best Buy with their most recent promotion.

except old cellphones aren't "always listening" so you'd have to manually go into it and turn it on to do any of the features you can do with the google home.

Please, before you go on your rant, I'm here to also help the community decide what's a "good" price. Hence, providing information to other readers.

Google home mini was $39.99 at almost all retailers two months ago, yes you were aware. Yes, it was sold out at multiple locations but it also restocked multiple times at many different stores. It was the "regular" price for well over 6 weeks. At this price, even with all the coupons and stuff, i'm not sure if this is even a good deal at all.

However, if the situation was that it was $39.99 only on black friday and it was sold out instantly, yes I would agree this is a good price.

But as I have mentioned, this was $39.99 for over 6 weeks, with plenty of stocks all over, so i'm sorry, PLEASE.

PS. just because this is currently the "Best Price" it doesn't necessary make it a "Hot Deal."

my $0.02.

Please, before you go on your rant,
You just dont seem to realize that at TODAYS PRICES this is a good deal.
The past be damned - who cares what's in the past? 79.99 is the going price today. Making this a good deal.

go ahead and make the purchase then.

Again, just trying to help the community with more information and if people are going to start a debate over "today's price" vs "past prices" you're also welcome to do so.
