[The Source] Alfred Smart Door Lock DB1 $139.99 ($60 off)

I prefer a smart lock with physical key and always like the style of Alfred better than the other brands, I got the DB1 which is on its way:

comparison between DB1 VS DB2:

BB has the wifi version on sale as well:

Just a heads up, certain Walmarts also have the DB1-A on clearance for 139.99 ! The Walmart in Newmarket at Leslie and Davis has had it for a good 2 weeks now.

The wifi module is 60 but if anyone sees a stellar deal on that too let me know!

I picked up DB1W-A-BL from Bestbuy for $139.99 a month ago. That one includes the wifi module and has a key as well.

The key cylinder came out and fell apart while I was installing it. Contacted customer service and had a replacement couriered to me a few days later. Since then... no problems. I like the app notifications when someone comes home (you can assign codes to users). Just having the keypad is nice, to not have to carry keys when I just pop out for a short walk.

some doors may need the hole drilled larger. There are kits for this so you dont destroy the door trying to make the hole.

$135.79 for PSP members.

Possible PM @ HD to bring it to $122.21......of course YMMV.

May have to try this evening.

Have been using this for 6 months now without any issues. Got the Db1 with wifi module, notifications are instant, you can setup different passcodes for different users and it'll notify which user opened, also integrates with Google assistant so you can unlock front door using your voice if you have a Nest mini or something. Been very handy. Would definitely recommend

The pictures show some sort of water proof but cant seem to find it in the description. Is the backside waterproof as well? Looking to install it on an external gate

Being wifi, it would not connect to a Zwave network.

What features would I be missing out on without the wifi module? Will I still be able to unlock/lock through my phone, proximity unluck, set up pins for people?

I tried to price match with Lowe's +10% off but it didn't meet their price match criteria. Signed up with The Source to receive $10 off purchase of $100 or more. Used 2 different emails to get 2 discount codes and put in 2 different orders. Thanks OP!

You can do all that without wifi feature, main difference is that without Wifi you won't get notifications when someone locks/unlocks the doors.

You can add a zwave module for $40. I have one that I added a few months ago and connected to my SmartThings Hub. It’s great for remote access and notifications via the SmartThings app.

Looks like the zwave ones are on sale now too.

Whats the difference between Alfred DB1 Smart Deadbolt Zwave with Key and without key ? Price is the same at $169.00 ?
