In my experience, it's a weak AIMesh partner, I was pretty disappointed.

If you manage to find one somewhere, the TM-AC1900 is usually about 50$ and can be flashed to a AC68U. They are hard to come by these days though.

I bought this for $150 about 4 years ago. Don't think it's a hot price given how old this is.

Yup AC86U is the best router back in the day, I still have it for VPN routing and it never let me down.
