Bought the HP 22xw monitor for $70. They were open-box but a very good deal. I remember new being a $100 or something.

I did add a game to bring the price up to $100 so I could apply the $25 coupon. Gonna sell the game afterwards.

On reflection my wallet was less safe than I thought. $148 + change delivered to BC for 2 monitors after coupon. $9 environment fee for each one :-O

Anyone who has purchased the HP 22xw monitor at the source before know if it actually comes with the VESA mount adapter? It's mentioned it's included in the box in the description but all the reviews and unboxing videos I've seen for it show they do not include it. The adapter alone is $30+ on amazon.

One of my two 22xw's has arrived and I can see why they had so may open boxes. They monitors are rather dim. The colour is better than the old TN Samsung that its replacing but the brightness is a lot lower. Nice matte screen finish, however. No more glare!
