But if one answers the call the other keeps ringing. Is there anyway to fix this? I have not been able to find a setting.
It's a "design feature". I find it very annoying as everyone in the house has the app installed to be able to answer the door quickly. The first to answer does not stop everyone else from answering as well. I have given feedback. I suggest you do the same. If enough customers think it's a problem, maybe they will fix it.

Thanks OP and all other helpers, between these three doorbells (#1- Eufy 2k battery doorbell $209, #2 - Ezviz DB1 $109.99 and #3 - DB1C $89.99) finally I picked the DB1C. The reason is wide camera 170 degrees and I like the white simple design.

I bought it From BestBuy and picked up within a hour. It took me 2 days and total around 3 hours to install it. (Should be easy, but I am not a handyman.) I set up with the original app and easy to use. The picture is not bad, and audio is much better than My Wyze Cam V2. The (audio in) surprise me, I can heard my next two houses neighbors were talking clearly @ their drive ways. On Ezviz website is showing (audio input: Ultra-HD; HD; Standard. Adaptive bit rate.) Not sure how is DB1?After all I am very satisfy.

Compare to my LG V20 wide camera 120 degrees @ the same spot. Huge difference (ceiling, floor, left and right.)

I was worry about the transformer from the chime, because my house is more than 30 years old. I am not sure how much power for the transformer. Lucky without any disconnect or issues.

1. DB1C IQ is slightly better but the difference is small, even at night.
2. DB1 has less false positives than DB1C - the PIR is important
3. DB1C is wider angle which I needed for my front door.
4. It is not possible to disable the ring on the DB1C itself but it is possible to disable it on the DB1. This is annoying to me.
5. DB1C emits a beep when it "detects" something and so far I have not found a way to disable this...

If I didn't need the wide angle I would have gone with two DB1's which IMO is a better product than DB1C.
#4 - I can disable the blue light on the ring.
#5 - I can disable the beep sound.
Maybe you need to update the latest firmware, mine is V5.3.0 build 201106.

I know is so hard to pick between these two models. They both has pros and cons.

For PIR seems like DB1 is a better option than DB1C ? Also are they both RTSP capable ? What about EZVIZ C3N. Seems like a good outdoor unit as well if it supports RTSP.

In some environments DB1 is better choice due to the PIR (passive infrared) sensor

They both support RTSP

Not sure the C3N supports RTSP, C3W and C3WN support it

I have a 30 year old door chime as well.
But I cannot get it to chime with DB1. Looking at your photo, it seems you have connected the 2 white wires from the door chime and the outside (front door) white wire to the white wire on the wiring kit. Am I correct?

As long as you know which is Front and which is Trans.
It will work.

Sorry for the confused, my 30 years old chime wires are all mess (wrong colour). Just like what Keigotw said, make sure which is Front and which is trans. Did your DB1 power up? If yes, that mean you are ok.

Db1 works, but not my house chime. I also switched transformer to 16v 30va. Followed the instructions. With or without the power kit, the db1 works, but never the door chime. The solenoid did not even buzz, only once for a short time. I suspect solenoid take too much current for the really thin wire of the power kit for it to work.

Did you set your doorbell to Mechanical?

Anyone try the EZVIZ Smart Chime? How is it? I am too scary to try, because I don't know what voltage on my transformer.

after installation the chime relay did not fire, but after 'activation' using the app, the chime relay fires. also, the instructions aren't the tightest, fair warning. also your comment regarding 'too much current' indicates you do not comprehend the circuit configuration. it is relay not shunt

i haven't gotten my ac 24v adapter plug yet..

so do i need to install the 'big' fuse relay?(i don't really want to install it if its optional) it won't fit inside the doorbell backing/cavity i don't think cuz its too big, im no drill xpert or electrical ! hope i don't eff up! my house does not have any current chime or doorbell system installed , i think its prolly cheaper for me to buy an outdoor wireless cam and point it at the door and just buy a cheap wireless doorbell lol

with DB1 i have to drill holes and do wiring stuff which im a noob at! :( plus running the wires along the wall near the front door to the power outlet(10ft apart i think) will not look good on a white wall! i don't think i can hide it well
