On the source order page it says dec. 29th shipping day. Do they call you before had? Who is it shipped by? Anyone know?

Can anyone shed some light on how to decrease input lag for a PS2 (retro gaming) console using a component cable hooked directly to the TV? We were thrilled to find an 'AV' and 'component' inputs on there, but the current lag is too difficult to play Wrestling games with. Thanks, for any tips!! Picture wise, this seems great so far!
Try switching to the game picture setting. Let us know if that helps any.

We can't find a game setting mode on there, is there one? We even went into the advanced setting by pressing 0000. Also, I lost my parental code they told me to keep. Does everyone have the same one? It was nothing like 000 or 1234, it was 4 different digits and had a 9 in it, that's all I know, ha!

Does anyone know where to go in the general settings to disable the fluid logo upon power up?

My service menu looks slightly different from the earlier post :s

I also have an older sound system using component/AV red white cables for sound but I can't seem to get sound through the speakers in video mode on my system. Are there settings I need to change on the TV?

Just picked mine up today. The parental code I got was 8899, not sure if it's unique haha

I will make a note of yours, ha ha! It slightly rings a bell, but I thought the 4 numbers were diff. for some reason.

Mine is also 8899. Seems to be the default until you change it. I would imagine a factory_reset in the service menu would fix it?

It's "native" so on all inputs. But it's "internal" so you can't feed the set 120hz signal over HDMI.
Sorry i got this tv the input menu is just showing 60hz should it not be saying 120hz? Tried different inputs and a rogers netbox and Minix uh9. (the input one is actually showing up as 4x3 and stretching working on figuring that out too)

120hz for this panel simply means that the backlight will flicker 120 times per second to simulate extra 60 frames. Regardless i am very happy with my panel.

Now to buy 950/960/1050/1060 gfx card for my old rusty htpc. I hope 4k@60 will run thru a 1050 on a ancient core2duo E6600's motherboard

Thanks, good to know we all have the same parental code, lol. I didn't muck anything up yet with it, I just wondered what it was if I needed it. Thanks for your answer though! :) Good to know they are the same. At one point we messed up the colour big time. Factory reset it,; was totally the same. Went into the 0000 menu, did factory reset and it was fine once going through initial setup again. (In case this helps anyone else,)

Hey, would someone mind measuring the distance between the 2 feet of the TV legs/stand included, as well as the width? Trying to figure out bare minimum needed for an entertainment unit. Thanks!!

Everything I find on this panel says it's native 120hz. Where are you finding that it's using backlighting to simulate 120hz?

TV went from “out of stock” to “no longer available”. Doesn’t look like this TV is coming back in stock any more.

I missed out.

Not in front of mine right now but try PC mode if there isn't a game mode. Normally the PC or game picture settings have the least lag.

Thanks! For Xbox 360 it seems to help. For PS2, looks like SOL to get decent play without lag. Can't complain about the TV though, for the price!
