Google makes overpriced hardware that do not match the quality you'd expect of them.
Plus the trend in 2020 for TWS is now for inner ear mics (Samsung live, Buds+, Jabra 85Ts), Google still has a lot if catching up to do.
Having said that, the 12mm drivers should sound interesting, and the language translation feature makes this unique.
It is probably worth this price, but I would pass.

What is Staples PSP? Googled and I couldn't find any info

EDIT: I'm an idiot. Ignore that question.

Either you sign up as a business
OR
it's a perk with your employer (as in Perkopolis or Venngo or whatever your employer uses)

I've had these and while I won't say they were horrible, they were frustrated to use.

They weren't very comfortable.
They didn't fit very well, even with changing the three different sizes.
They cut in and out quite a bit. Disabling the removal detection thingy setting did fix that though.
The L & R buds would sometimes be out of sync, which will drive you mad in a matter of a minute.

The sound quality was pretty good though.
The touch controls worked well.
The case is probably the most premium of them all.
The buds build quality is quite nice.
They look nice, they certainly aren't as big as some of the others....ahem new Bose.

I had to return them and I'm an admitted Pixel fan boy ( OG Nexus One owner)

To be fair, these are much cheaper than the new Bose (smaller too) and Sennheiser wireless buds.

Edit: My BIL has the sony-wxblahblahblahs and they sound REALLY good. Good noise cancelation as well. The case is a little big though and the buds themselves are much bigger than the Pixel Buds. They're also more expensive but I would recommend them to someone who is going to get a lot of usage out of their buds.

The second gen just came out in Canada less than 3 months ago and you're talking about 3rd gen? Lol

Besides, why buy the 3rd gen when they're just going to go on clearance when the 4th gen launch?
