I would buy it if it had a scratch. But not a dent. Since this says scratch and dent, I'm out. Neutral Face
I am a Zoomer customer.

Do we know how much do they charge for extended warranty, say for 5 yr? Is it compatible/reasonable as costco or more like bestbuy?

FYI to all I purchased an open box version of this tv and for the price you really can't complain.

I unfortunately had to return mine due to a weird issue whereby it made a blood boiling high pitched squeal every time I paused my DVR.

Ordered one for an open box. Source site is acting up on CC payments, had to route to paypal with bank info just to process the order.

What about returns? Have heard stores wont take back a 55 inch or bigger tv and you have to pay to ship it back.

Guys from my experience dealing with a few scratch and dents tv from thesource have been great so far including this one I bought and just did a price adjustment this morning. On the 3 different occasions throughout the past 3 years I have received all of them in new conditions with plastic still on, but of course ymmv according to others.

A good practice is when you go pick up your tv in store, ask the manager to have it opened so you can check to make sure no cracks or badly damaged tv before bringing it home. If the tv is damaged, return it on the spot so less hassle of bringit it home.

I bought an open box one a couple weeks ago and for the price it's a pretty sick TV. No regrets.
