I’m seeing $364 for the scratch and dent. Nm. Looks like the s&d has a $35 Env few while the refurb doesn’t.

If this were the H9908, it would be a flood.

Actually, no. Most scratch and dents are in nearly perfect condition. Refurbs have seen use.

not necessarily, for 50 inch, refurb is more expensive than scratch & dent, check url below,

Scratch and Dent typically means that there is some kind of cosmetic aberration on the unit that does not impede function.
Refurbished typically means that the unit has been returned to the manufacturer, distributor and has been checked or repaired or remanufactured to bring it up to function. Factory Refurbished typically means that the item has been completely remanufactured and tested as new.

There is a great deal of variation and licence taken with those terms, at some retailers, though.
Personally I have bought a few Refurbished TV's and Laptop's at The Source, and they have all come as new, clean, in sealed boxes, with new accessories. Unlike some sellers The Source seems to generally offer full 12 month warranty on most Refurbished items.Haven't bought any Scratch and Dents from them, so I can't say what condition to expect.

Well, I bit, then cancelled, then saw the $25 code this morning and bit on the scratch and dent (refurb sold out) for $372 all in. I was wanting to replace my main tv (Panasonic 50" plasma) but I want to "go big or go home" and just cant seem to find what I want for under 3k so the other part of that plan was to move the plasma to the dude grotto to didtch the Haier in there that treats all shades below "dark grey" as pitch black no matter what I do. This doesn't solve the new great tv issue but it does solve the "man cave slash my garage and a lazyboy chair" tv situation. Im hoping it is good for gaming and streaming and Ill wait for 75" tvs to become the new 55" as far as pricing goes, or neural jacks, whichever comes first.
