[The Source] Logitech M510 Mouse - Black $29.99

Not a bad deal for this mouse. Save an extra $4.50 if you have the employee pricing.

I'll much rather get the Marathon M705 at Costco for $25

Does that feel like a full size mouse? Comparing dimentions, M705 is 1cm shorter than M510

I use it daily for work and at home, have like 3 of them lol
So I would say so unless you have very large hands

Several years ago, I bought a M705 and found it too small.
I returned it, and got a M510, which I much preferred.
I still use it, and continue to like it.

Scratch that, the M510 does appear slightly longer but the Marathon is wider, you'll hold them differently I think.

I highly recommend anyone looking for a decent budget mouse to check out the Logitech Triathlon M720. I used the M510 prior (one of my favorite for it's size and price too) but wouldn't got back after the M720.

Nope.
I have the receipt copies, and actually made a note (funny that way) at the time.
I found the area under the palm too short.
I'd like to see both in profile though, as I suspect maybe the 705 slopes off more.

Up until then I didn't tend to analyze mice much and had used everything under the sun prior, without much thought.
I do know I didn't like the 705, and did the 510.
It just felt wrong, and wasn't comfortable.
Maybe the 705 was just too non-traditional in shape.

A very quick search finds a comment which reflects mine (I can't confirm the dimmensions):
"The m705 is ~1cm smaller than the m510. Unless you're using fingertip grip, I wouldn't recommend it.
M705: 110 x 75 x 40
M510: 120 x 65 x 41"

Each to their own though, as obviously it sells well and somebody likes it.

Just a heads up on this mouse - I own a few, and they work well on certain surfaces. However, the optical sensor is pretty dated by today's standards, and does not track well on glass/certain "foamy" surfaces, pants, couches, etc. This mouse was released at least 5 years ago.

A newer mouse like the Logitech M720 Triathlon Mouse is much more flexible with the surfaces it works and works well on. The M720 routinely goes on sale for $39.99. The M720 is my "go-to" mouse for most people, unless you want to go crazy and get the MX Master 3.

No idea when it was released, but I purchased mine Nov. 2011, on sale for $29.99.

In a world where products seem to change rapidly (often unnecessarily), I'm surprised both are still around.

I recently purchased the M720 TRIATHLON and absolutely love it. I use it for work not gaming. The bluetooth connection is flawless and I like the feel of it. I got use quickly to the back button but still have to use on a regular basis the side-scrolling with the wheel.
I would purchased another one if it were $25.
