Well... I just bought a nerf for everyone in the family.

Why RFD?

Oh, thx OP.

And after watching review videos I want to buy more for my sons birthday party. This is a great product at such a low price.

Personally, I would go for the pistols. It's a smaller, and less likely to break things when swinging it around.

If you have boys at home, these are great. I have only girls at home. I kinda want this for myself but I think I'm too old to play with this myself.

I have a daughter. She played with Nerf guns with her brothers. Just show her how much fun it is. Be a leader.

These laser ops were a flop for Nerf. Hence the liquidations at retailers. App support will die in the near future.
In my family's experience, the novelty wore off very quickly, and their sound effects are quite loud. They now sit at the bottom of the nerf bin as nothing beats real foam projectiles to your loved ones.
That being said, price is fine for curiosity's sake if you feel the urge to snag a pair or 2 (3...)

Ended up getting 14 of them. I intend to arm all my nieces and nephews at the big Christmas party.
I don't think there's 14 kids, but for 5$ it's better to have extras in case some more people show up.
