[The Source] Samsung Galaxy Buds (2019) - $169 with PSP

The Galaxy Buds are listed as $169.99 with the PSP discount at the Source (instead of the $199 list price at Best Buy, The Source without the PSP discount, and elsewhere). It has free shipping and three colour options.

Looks like it is one of the better true wireless earbuds on the market. The internal mic in particular is an interesting feature for call quality.

If you don't have PSP, there is a $25 discount on $150+ instead that is available today with the promo code APRIL2019. The non-PSP discount is listed as today only though.

I haven't tried the E8s, but from what I hear they apparently sound fairly metallic and shallow (They're also double the price). Wouldn't be surprised if the Galaxy Buds outperform them.

Sammy heavily advertised external and internal microphone tech, only for it to turn out really really bad. Calling talk quality mediocre would be giving them a compliment.
They sound about average with a good seal. But for that price average sound with truly bad mics it is not worth it. The old pair sounded better than this akg nonsense. Feel like the rest of akg lineup is turning to crap since Sammy bought them. I mean they released whole lineup uf devices a month or so ago.... With bluetooth 4.1....come on.

I tried both for a week. The sound on Jabra is arguably better, but is way more inconfortable. I kept the Galaxy buds and returned the Jabras.

i got these for $84 as I bought them with Galaxy Watch. they are way more comfortable in ear and sound slightly better compared to previous version. But samsung really messed up the controls. For long press, now you have to chose between volume controls or bixby/google assistant. Complete d... move. Read Engadget review for this product before you buy as these compromises are not easy for many. Ambient noise cancelling is far worse compared to previous version. they just sent an upgrade two days ago to fix this but I dont see big improvement even after that software update.
Other things you lose compared to previous year version are onboard storage and activity tracking.

Red & White Flag…
Damn, how does one get the PSP if their workplace doesn't qualify? Or if I can purchase this through someone.
If it's not free, it's too expensive...

That's weird. When I log into the goodlife fitness members site I don't see the source in the tech and gadgets section.
