[The Source] Samsung UN43TU7000 43" 4K Smart TV - Scratch & Dent | $299.99

Sells new for $548 from Costco, Amazon, Visions, etc.

ATL on Amazon (as new) is $398 around the end of 2020, since then it's lowest point has been ~$470.

I don't mind scratch and dent, but wouldn't buy unless they specified that none of the "scratches" are on the screen.

Aside from that..... $300 for a 43" 4K PC monitor is pretty decent. (I've been more than happy with my 43" TCL, and this is probably on par with that as a monitor).

These is a display TV with 10000+ hours on it. If you don't mind it, it's an OK deal. I got one LG 5y ago from this section, had around 9000h on it, still going strong.

It's not a display TV. It's a scratch & dent. Display TV's are marked as demo units. It should come with 0 hours on the unit. This isn't final sale or anything either, so if the "dent" happens to be right in the middle of the screen, or affect performance whatsoever, it can be returned.

Do you use it for gaming only or usual work / surfing?

I used my LG 43" 4k for both gaming and surfing.

I prove you wrong, see the att screenshot. All the scratch and dent are demo TVs, just dented during use. I spoke to them when I picked up this at the store

No gaming on that particular monitor, but I do use it for a visualizer program (Plane9) or cycling videos while exercising. I was pleasantly surprised at how good text looked @4K on my TCL 43".

Where does it say that it's a Demo model in your screenshot? It just says "Scratch & Dent" on it. Or does S&D mean that it's a demo model?

Not the person with the photo, but it looks like it varies. A couple people in this thread have had them show up brand new or near brand new. Good news about a 43 inch tv is that it can be returned in store easily if it doesn't work out.

I bought a demo Sony tv 55" from the source last year and it was practically new.

I couldn't get to the "secret" menu to show the hours used but no concerns so far.

Update: Got the TV today. Absolutely no scratches on the screen or the front panel. That said, it's definitely used. The screen was quite dirty and there was no soft cover around on the TV.
