Seems reasonable for an action cam. If you crash and burn at least you're only out a C-note Winking Face

I like the Sony ones.

Good price, but works better with the LiveView remote.

I scored an HDR-AZ1 for $80 from Sportchek last year WITH the LiveView remote. Now that was a deal!

No

Windchill is irrelevant to non-living entities when it comes to temperature limits.

If you measure the temperature of a nonliving item at 0C, with a windchill of -20, the item will still show a temperature of 0C.

All windchill does is cause heat loss to occur more quickly, but it does not mean an item gets any colder.

(While I know what you mean....and the science...I just feel like pointing out what you just typed...)

...Because that's what you 'measured' in the first place...hahaha

e.g. If you measure the temperature of a nonliving item at 0C, with a windchill / fridge / sun of -20 / -38 / +15million c, the item will still show a temperature of 0C.

i.e. What you state in the middle is irrelevant...because your measurement comes from the first measure...LoL.

Must have been a long day at work.

I think that was his point ... windchill is irrelevant.

The stronger the wind chill, the less likely I am outside using it.

I had this action cam and used it skiing in Utah and BC in temps well below -10C and had no problems at all with it running.

It's out of stock.
You likely didn't click on the offer link above and were looking at the other model that comes with the wireless viewer add-on.
