No, this is their regular practice. Sale prices now are regularly on every few weeks. I know because I was looking for my wife's.
But if you want something for Christmas, this is probably the latest time? Whose nose!

All bloated MSRP's to begin with. The 'deal' is what similar retailers sell for normally - Effy Jewellery is in almost all department stores in North America, just google the model to see similar retailer's price before to compare.

i will never buy jewelry at The Bay again even on Christmas, everything is inflated! lessons learned...i was so naive and vulnerable that time.
if you will shop jewelry, make sure you checked all other retailers like Peoples, etc..etc..

Every jewelry store is inflated....thats why it's always on sale. The Bay's 70% is the best time of the year to buy at the Bay...they occasionally have some fair deals if you look, but i find their selection this year seems to be shrinking compared to previous years.

I bought my stuff in US...even with the exchange rate, I bought the similar ring for platinum for the price of the a 14k gold here.
