Is there any good deal for cellphone on black friday?

My wife want to buy one 5" or larger cellphone to replace her old phone. She doesn't need data plan, Is there any good deal on black friday?

I see bestbuy has iphone 6s and samsung s7 edge , the iphone 6s screen is a lttle small, but iphone quality is good. I suppose the 2 years plan is expensive, Is there any one know what is the cheapest 2 year plan in Rogers and Bell if I want to buy iphone 6s or samsung s7 edge.

If these two plan are all expensive, Is there any cheaper monthly plan that I can also get one large size cellphone for less money?

Thanks.

There are no more subsidized phones. Now the retail price is just added on to the plan. You should look for refurb or go for a lower end brand.

I see. For the low end brand, which one is also has 5.5" size screen, and the speed is acceptable? My wife like large size screen, but for the performance , she is not so picky.

The DTEK50 is best mid range phone on Black Friday IMO, very light and thin! On sale for $290 with a 5.2” Scratch-resistant display. Newer processor, 3GB Ram and great reviews.

Also, Android on BlackBerry is where it's at for having the most Secure Mobile phone on earth and for it coming barebones stock Android. Shop Blackberry has it for $305, but offers you 30 day money back guarantee if not happy.

You'll get security updates every couple weeks and Blackberry will be rolling out Nougat to Priv, DTEK50 and DTEK60 early next year after they've secured it. I have the DTEK60 and just love it!!! All the premium specs of Pixel at hundreds less.

BlackBerry has locked down all of the Android hacks still available on all other android devices, including Pixel which was recently hacked with ease and rooted. None of Blackberry's Android have been touched.

List of security features::
Hardened Linux Kernel: We reduce the Android attack surface with numerous patches and configuration changes to improve security.

Hardware Root of Trust: During manufacturing, we establish a Hardware Root of Trust that adds security keys to the processor on every Priv, DTEK50 and DTEK60 as it is built. Those keys track, verify, and provision each device – meaning that the authenticity and integrity of your device is guaranteed, as is the safety of the data it holds.

A Better Bootloader: Because of our secure boot process, you can trust that only an untampered, BlackBerry-signed OS can be loaded. Each stage of the secure boot chain must first verify that the next component is fully intact before proceeding.

FIPS 140-2 Compliant Full Disk Encryption: U.S. Government-grade encryption protects your private information, like personal pictures or banking info, if your phone is lost or stolen.

Ongoing Security Patching: Many popular smartphones put the user's private information at risk of being hacked due to slow security updates – weeks, months, or even years after a patch is released. BlackBerry's record of being the quickest to deliver Android security patches minimizes your vulnerability.

BlackBerry Integrity Detection (BID): We continuously monitor Priv, DTEK50 and DTEK60 for events or configuration changes that indicate a compromise to device security, then we trigger real-time actions if a threat is detected.

Dedicated Security Research & Response Teams: We bring our world-renowned security experts and testing to our line of BlackBerry secure smartphones powered by Android

For those interested in DTEK60, it's same specs as $1049 Pixel and yours fully unlocked for $650 with case and rapid charger.

Thank you so much for such detailed introduction. My wife checked this one and the ZTE AXON, she prefer the ZTE AXON, while I prefer this DTEK50.
