Is there a better internet/phone service than primus?

In north york, my family is currently using primus. They're paying 45 bucks for the phone and 48 for internet for 6mbps. Perhaps it's just me but paying that much for 5mbps seems like highway robbery despite it being the costco plan that they got ages ago.

I called them and asked and they stated that they're all of a sudden offering a service that's 10 bucks cheaper with the phone service for 15mbps. That's $25/phone and for 49/internet

I went onto their site and I see this
tl;dr phone and internet for 64 bucks for 75mbs

Unless there's a better service that's not primus. It seems awfully confusing why they offered a slightly better service while something infinitely better is on their website, I guess I should call in and ask.

Start and TekSavvy are good providers. As for CIK Telecom - please be careful when signing up with them. Sometimes, their service isn't that good based on the reviews.

There's also another provider that recently came up the rounds: Oxio.

if they are willing to go voip there are lots of cheaper options like voip.ms or fongo

for internet just hit up any mall and you'll see some advertised specials that for around same price will give them some better speeds. also rogers has some programs for lower income people if they qualify
