There is no design prowess in Hyundai's entire lineup
...and the people who drive them have no sense of aesthetic.
Ok I know this seems like a shitpost and I'll get what I get for it, but it perplexes me how Hyundai over the last decade has managed to get away with blatantly thieving the design standards of every other automaker. I saw a truck the other day, thinking hey its maybe the new Ford Escape. Nope, just another Hyundai.
Over the years I've mistaken Hyundai's for Mercedes, Toyota, Mazda, the only totally original design I've seen has been the Veloster, and that just seems like a more streamlined Focus. I saw a Genesis ad for a G80, looks like a Volvo front, Lincoln rear, and has the side profile of a pine derby racer. And WTH is a Palisade?
I'm out.
