[The Source] Haier 50E3500 50” 1080p LED HDTV - At least 36% Off! SAVE $200-250

I just bought a TV from the source and posted the deal on here. However, that deal went out of stock really fast so I thought I'd mention another TV I seen on sale.

There isn't any reviews on it and I haven't looked into this TV at all but someone I know owns a Haier and they say it's not bad.

I guess you can't go wrong for a 50" at this price but is only 60 HZ.

If you're looking to save even more money on this TV I found another link to an open box listing (which means more in stock for everyone) at about $50 off of the already 36% discount.

Link to new box unopened (349.96) - http://www.thesource.ca/en-ca/tvs-and-h ... m=10797598

Link to box opened ($299.96) - http://www.thesource.ca/en-ca/tvs-and-h ... /108044350

Looks to be same model of the costco 55" Haier that everyone went nuts for. Probably won't last long.

I just checked out Costco and seems like their 55" Haier's regular price is the same as The Source's 50" regular price just to let people know.

Yea I know, thought I'd add pricing of Costco's to give people a comparison to my original post of the savings on the 50" Haier. The Source has their regular price at 549.99 with a savings right now for 349.96. Costco has no sale but their regular price is the same even though their Model is 55" (5" bigger). So the sale isn't as good as it seems is all I'm trying to say.

I have the 50" from Costco which I bought when they were liquidating the model at $299. I then added the 5 yr warrantee for $30 and I have been very satisfied. A lot of people complain about the quality of sound. I wouldn't know because I send the sound through a home theater receiver.

I tried looking around for about 30 minutes when buying my LG TV from them. Couldn't get anything to work unfortunately and decided the deal was too good to be worrying about coupon codes. Only possible codes to work was free shipping but doesn't apply to over sized items such as TV's.

Signed up for email $25 off and checked out for $325. There's a $40 EHF that's normal right?

The amount depends on where (what province) you buy it. but yes...environmental fee is normal.

55" in store price is $499 + env fee + tax. I picked up one 2 weeks ago. A basic TV but does the basics extremely well.

I just bit on this one, needed something with more punch and didn't want to spend too much . Here's a filler http://www.thesource.ca/en-ca/cameras-a ... /p/1518486

Contacted them prior to ordering. 30 day return and 1 year warranty w/ Samsung. Just to let you know that some reviews crap on the bass, but others say its fine. I'll hold off on my judgement until I get the unit but with that said one comment mentioned this older model sounds better, and has better bass http://www.thesource.ca/en-ca/tvs-and-h ... /108021115. IMO doesnt make a difference to me, I know open box could be store model, but I bought a JVC sound system in 2010 from the source that was Open Box and the thing is still going.

Came to around $90 for me after coupon and taxes so I'm not setting my expectations too high, I'm sure it will be fine.
