Well, this might be not accurate.

Honda's reputation for reliability is renowned among car owners and shoppers. Customers trust Hondas, tuners love building Hondas, and enthusiasts track Hondas because they're fantastically unfussy. But this 2022 Civic for sale in Texas is impressive, even for a Honda. In just its lone year of life, this plucky Civic has traveled 248,740 miles—or about 10,000 miles past the moon.

600+ miles a day and not even a trucker... Yeah, I'd change careers.

You mean they don't rust like they used to. Back then, the engines would last longer than the body. Also, Honda ruled Formula 1 (Senna/Prost) back in the 1980s.

They've done pretty well these past 2 years, too.

Oil changes every other week. You gotta be kidding me. There's no way one human put this many miles on a car. This had to be a shared car.

Its too bad they don’t make “F1 inspired” cars anymore. That was a bit of their marketing slogan.

1st Gen nsx, type r, sir.
Even the base model civics were fun to drive.

Could have saved so much if he bought a Model 3 instead.

Probably 3-4 sets. When you do 600 miles a day it's likely a lot of highway which is easy on a car and tires.

600 miles of city driving a day would be some kind of hellscape punishment.

“ According to one of the service techs, the owner was a medical courier of some kind who drove hundreds of miles per day, almost every day.”

My best friend just traded in his 2017 CRV after 5 weeks of the engine being completely rebuilt after the camshaft failed.

I will give Honda some credit, they picked up 85% of the tab, but at 5 years old, it shouldn't happen.
