Thinkware F800 Issues

I know of two people that are having issues with the Thinkware F800. The problem is that during parking mode it seems to only record once in a while. We have changed the sensitivity setting however it did not resolve the issue & looked over everything else but it all looks normal

Last night my cousins car was broken into and it caught the people walking up and down the street once BUT when they actually smashed the glass and damaged the door to get into the car it did not record any of that. I know somebody else who has a similar issue with the same camera where it records randomly in parking mode but not all the time and seems to miss important events.

Has anybody with this camera noticed this issue before? If so how did you resolve it?

Aren't there battery voltage settings for parking mode? Maybe the car's battery was too low.

Nope it recorded before and after the event. So was not a battery issue. It just seems to randomly pick up motion but if somebody walks by the car it will sometimes pick it up and other times it wont which is very weird.

On both cameras? Doubt it and one of the owners noticed it shortly after they got it a year or two ago.

It has to be in your settings. Just because it records motion may not mean it records events. I own both an f800 'a few years old now' and a q800 and both work flawlessly. Is the incident folder full, also when the camera is in parking mode and you slam the door is there a beep?

From what i'm told, he has checked all folders and could not find it, just maybe a week or so before the card was formated. It it setup to overwrite old video.

I know when he comes into the car, it switches out of parking mode, as it says something due to motion or door closing
