Those with a 407 transponder and a vehicle with forward camera - where are you putting it?

So I'm at a loss for where to mount a 407 (toll) transponder. Typically I've mounted it behind the rearview mirror on other cars. This time, I've got a plastic shroud covering the forward facing camera taking up all that space in a new car. That got me realizing more vehicles with forward cameras and windshield sensors have "stuff" in the mounting area suggested by 407ETR.

Where did you mount your transponder?

I put mine beside the forward camera.
There's alot of spots on your windshield for your transponder. The sensor at the highway can scan it.

To the right of this sensor box with about 1cm clearance or so between them. Still stays in the blind zone from the driver’s point of view, so not an eyesore.

Used to mount it behind or close to rear view mirror, after dashcams, I now mount it all the way to the right top corner passenger side, have no problem with the 401ETR sensors picking them up.

Right beside...no issues. Also have my E-ZPass right under the 407 transponder.

You can just mount it anywhere along the top strip of your windshield. Well I mean technically you could mount it low on the windshield too and it will still work on most cars but most people put it somewhere it's less visible. As long as you put it somewhere it doesn't obstruct/hamper/distract your view of the road, you're good.

I keep mine in my glovebox, no issues with it being read by the 407 sensors.

Mines in a cup holder half the time and it works

Just put it beside the plastic thing, it doesn't need to be in the middle.
