Those with $60/10Gb plans..... Price auto increase to $65 (Fido/Rogers) $70 (Telus)

I tried hard to get telus to keep me on the 10gig 60$ plan. no luck, I ordered my zoomer package yesterday. 19 years with telus btw.

another reassurement Koodo is not increasing the price on 10GB
they are giving 2 code for people currently with $60 / 10GB plan to let 2 person sign up for $60 / 10GB plan

So happy I left Rogers for Koodo! I was hesitant on leaving but I haven't looked back. I find way less congestion on Koodo. When I was in downtown Toronto well on Rogers I would find myself with full signal but the internet would be so slow.

I don’t think Koodo has given any reassurance.

The iphoneincanada article quotes them as saying that there are currently no plans to raise the rates. Doesn’t mean they said they’ll never do it.

They’re the only guys who haven’t raised the rates so far, so this could be a last ditch effort to pick up net new customers before the do. I sure hope they don’t though, but I wouldn’t hold my breath.

I don't think any reasonable person believes the word "never" actually applies to any of the telecom companies. It could be a year from now or two or three. I don't expect them to keep it forever.
