thought on removing ceramic tiles in kitchen

have a mattamy home and kitchen is approx. 13 by 8 would say...looking at tiles from Costco...for those tha have changed ceramic tiles in the kitchen...did you also remove tiles under kitchen island and cubboards pantry ...thinking of getting a contractor or hanyman from kijji that has removed tile and worked on tile before...not sure how many hours this would take,,guessing..to remove,,jackhammer for ceramic tiles
