Thoughts on this gaming chair?

I saw the Brassex Fresno gaming chair on sale this week at Best Buy and was wondering if anyone has any experience with this chair.

Ideally I was looking for a good work/gaming chair that ergonomically functional and was looking at the Dexley/Hyken at Staples but they haven't gone on sale in forever and I can't wait much longer. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!

i did some research into chairs and it appears that "gaming" chair is just a marketing gimmick, you want a nice office chair for games.

Find an office liquidation warehouse and get a used Herman Miller or a Steelcase. I'm using the Aeron but Embody is amazing too. A lot of people buy used Steelcase Leaps and like those.

Gaming chairs are just complete junk that are bad for your back/posture and will probably fall apart within 2 years.

Sounds like you've all confirmed my suspicions about gaming chairs. Much appreciated to all who took the time to respond! I will keep an eye out for any office warehouse liquidations (any good links by the way?) or a Staples sale. Thanks again!

My son wants a gaming chair for xmas. Not sure how he will feel with an all black or uncool looking office chair. Time to do some research.

If your son is gonna sit on that chair for long periods of time. Please convince him to get a better non gaming chair cause it does damage to your body as you get older.

A coworker of mine (several actually) just bought the cheaper Secret Lab chairs, but one spent $1100 on his secret lab chair.

I laughed all of them off saying they're basically all the same as all the others and all of these Amazing reviews they keep coming across are pretty much paid for.

I myself have an AKRACING one I bought about 2.5 years ago. I like it and still find it fairly comfortable with the lumbar support, without it though it's not for me.

im also looking into gaming chairs and to get one with a leg rest. Do you take naps on yours? If i do take naps on mine, is the leg rest a necessity?

I don't have a leg rest... do you mean the foot stool thing? If so just use any small foot stool.
