Thoughts on this laptop

Hi guys,
Just looking to get peoples thoughts on this laptop: http://www.acer.ca/ac/en/CA/content/model/NX.MQPAA.001

Last night I purchased it direct from Amazon (Warehouse Deal Store) for $5xx.xx. It was labelled as 'Condition used - very good'

I won't know until I receive it if there is a warranty or if the serial number has already been registered, but there is a 30 day return policy with Amazon.

I just wondered if the price is good for specs etc.....thanks

Hope I don't step on someones liking or disliking, but at that price $1200/-, you are near apple range, but if this is what you want bestbuy has $100/- less

Yeah, I agree and I don't know enough about specs, but I know I wouldn't have paid full price, but at $5xx.xx I'm wondering if I got a good deal.

It has a decent CPU, Screen, and memory. It even has a decent sized SSD! Only wild card is durability. Acer has been known to make lemons, and I have no idea if this is one of them.

I think $500 is a good price.

Acer is more known for low end laptops.. I would be weary of the durability of that machine, probably lot of cheap thin plastic everywhere

Yeah....saw a whole 'one' review on Costco.ca but it sounds promising....

In regards to the SSD, size wise it sounds small compared to say a 1tb hard drive. So in regards to photo's/videos etc....is it best just back them up on an external hard drive?
