[Canadian Tire] Thule cargo boxes 30% off

Starting Thursday March 21 Canadian Tire's flyer will have their Thule Cargo boxes on for 30% off, plus a $30 giftcard back if you spend over $150 tomorrow (Thursday March 21).

They carry the Thule Convoy line (Alpine and Large) which is apparently exactly the same as the Thule Pulse, even the same Thule part #, but labeled as Convoy for CT (probably to avoid price matching). Their regular pricing is higher, than say Amazon for the Pulse, but with the sale they are substantially cheaper. These models include the no-tool attachment mechanism.

Alpine: https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/thul ... p.html#srp
Reg $600, Sale $420 + $30GC back

Large: https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/thul ... p.html#srp
Reg $700, Sale $490 + $30GC back

Flyer: https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/flyer.html

I've seen these at 20% before, but not 30%. Even better with the extra $30. Wish I'd also picked up some discounted giftcards for more savings.

If you live in Ottawa area, the 1st Alpine is on sale at Buckingham, QC location at 50% off now. ($300) Just that location though.
Edit: After sale started the price went up to $420 to match nation-wide sale price. Probably will go down again after weekly sale is over.

The Alpine is made for skiers specifically.

I have the Convoy Large which I picked up from CT last year- it will fit skis/snowboards up to ~187cm in length. Anything beyond this and you'll need to look into the larger(length wise) alpine box.
IMO the Convoy Large is more versatile given the extra height over the Alpine.

My Alpine easily fits in 3 pairs of skis w poles (2 youth + 1 adult), a snowboard (adult), and two pairs of ski boots. Could add more if I start tettrising it.

Very convenient and useful.

Picked up the Convoy L last month for $550 and thought that was a good price. Unfortunately it was just over 30 days ago so I can't get the price adjusted. Definitely a good buy for less than $500.

CT has 90-day return policy.
If they refuse price adjust, buy at the cheaper price, return with old receipt.

Only downside is that it only opens from one side (passenger) - Convoy model
