[Ticketmaster] Toronto Blue Jays final homestand (Sept 28-Oct 3, Yankees, Orioles) - 500 Level seats now available (starting at $18)

TLDR: Rogers/Jays are forcing the province to make a decision on expanding current capacity limits. If they don't get approval for next week, you'll get a refund for your 500 level tickets.

Rough 500 level pricing scale (at least for Yankees game I'm attending)

Rows 11 and up: $18
Rows 6-10: $23
Rows 1-5: $29

Current safety rules:
  • Each fan aged 12 and older must have a government-issued ID and present proof of full COVID-19 vaccination - meaning the full series of a World Health Organization approved COVID-19 vaccine or combination of approved vaccines, received at least 14 days prior to the day of the game.
  • Children turning 12 between August 1 and December 31, 2021 are only required to show one vaccine dose when accompanied by a fully vaccinated adult.
  • A negative COVID-19 test result will no longer be accepted, except for individuals with a doctor's note indicating they cannot receive the vaccine due to medical exemptions.

Remember MLB rules mean you can bring in outside food. Get the bucket of chicken and make your seat neighbours salivate

"Rogers Centre allows guests to bring outside food into the stadium as long as the items are wrapped, bagged or left inside a container to avoid spillage. Food containers must comply with bag policy and are soft-sided and small enough to fit under the guest's seat."

Sit on 3rd base/left field side so a) you're not facing the sunset for afternoon game and b) you get to face the CN Tower for evening games.

Any of the last two since they're day games on the weekend. Weeknight games can go fairly late, plus the time it takes to get home. These games will also be the busiest potentially

Yup.

I once sat on the right field side 500s for that afternoon Jays game that went 17 innings. Sunstroke and regrets.

Its not a guarantee these 500 level tickets go through, it depends if thr government allows more than 15,000 fans. But of course, they would refund you if not allowed. Just wanted to point this out

RFD speak: buy now, think later.

Not too different from a $90 Ultraboost deal and everyone hoping Adidas honours the offer.

EDIT: Seems like the province is letting MLSE have 9500 ppl at the pre-season Leafs/Habs game. Prob sooner than later this gets confirmed.

100s aren't a terrible price relative to what they are listed for on Stubhub on gameday. Yolo.

Update, Jays have confirmed increased capacity (30,000) and opening of 500 level for this homestand.

I could honestly say I havent finished a Jays game completely. It's either I left on the 5th inning or arrived at the 5th. Baseball needs a better entertainment programing throughout the game

That being said, I wish them all the best. Theyre red hot at the moment and hope VGJr wins AL MVP

I wouldn't say going 3 and 3 in the last 6 would be ice cold but if you want to look at the last 2 games yes. throw out Monday's game when the ump stole it for TB.
