TIDAL 4 months for CAD $4 both premium and Hi-Fi

Deal Link:
Retailer:
TIDAL
I saw this on my facebook and just signed up for the offer. Did a Google search and couldn't find any web result about the offer, so I copied the link out from the Facebook app, it seems work fine in browser.

Not sure if it's new account only as I forgot my account anyway, I registered a new one, it works just fine.

Highly recommend Tidal! Enjoying the $5 for 5 months promo now.

The Android app isn't perfect but quality definitely is a great difference over Spotify, and Tidal specific content pretty cool like videos and exclusives.

Few weeks ago or so Rakuten (US site) had the same deal except they gave you $8 cash back. So you actually make $4 just by signing up for the promo Smiling Face With Open Mouth

Please stop with the misinformation. There is zero audible difference between spotify and tidal. *

Spotify has 320kbps, Tidal has flac. There is audible differences with the correct hardware or DAC connected with headphones. *

Hopefully this is still around in a few months. I've got 3 more months on my Apple Music free trial.

Thanks op
Latest update fixed the stupid not playing problem. I always had to hit play on my phone to get it going.

App experience wise Spotify is the best, less crashy. Apple Music is pretty slick too.

Hilarious! Have fun with your lossy lowbitrate music. I can absolutely tell the difference... especially when it's master audio.

Agreed. I'm in love with Tidal, they have live music sessions lots of more engaging content. I'm like listening to pop country genre and they have good content.

Huge difference if you have the right equipment. The MQA tracks are phenomenal. Every time I go back to Spotify or Google Play I notice a big difference. You have to be on the top plan though which is more expensive after a trial. I like Spotify and Google Play interface and radio much better, but the sound quality difference is very noticeable on my equipment. That said I am using $3000 speakers, $500 dac and $2000 amp, so if you aren't playing on high end equipment and using Bluetooth speakers or budget headphones, you might not notice the difference.

But let's also be fair, you don't have to spend enough to buy a car to hear the difference between FLAC and 320kbps MP3.

Bottom line - if you’re an audiophile you will spend money on the right kind of equipment that will give you a sound quality that you can appreciate. Agreed not everyone will spend this much for this type of sound quality but those that do are doing it because they truly appreciate it. It’s very subjective. Kind of like fine wine. For most a $10 bottle will do them just fine; however for connoisseurs they are willing to spend $300 or more on a fine bottle of wine bc they appreciate the taste.

I used to think that Spotify at 320kbps was sufficient until I started to upgrade my equipment. As I did I could hear the difference between FLAC and 320kbps. With the right equipment it is night and day and it is very difficult to go back to 320kbps.
