UPDATE: As noted below the specs do not match the title, description, and the image which all state 24gb memory. It's unclear at this point why the specs list 16gb instead. So keep this in mind!

Is this worth using a cross border shipping service? Is it a good deal?

Is it new or refurbished? It says it has apple warranty at the bottom. Can you add apple care to it?

TIA

Tigerdirect is a red flag, but the price is attractive.

Still err-ing on the side of no, because if anything goes wrong, it's even more annoying given it's a US retailer.

This won't ship. Tiger direct has had price errors in the past and doesn't honour them.

I was thinking about it but it won't take Canadian addresses as billing address, and also adds 8% tax if shipping to an NY shipping forwarder.

How do you put Canadian info into a US only billing field anyway? Read on some previous RFD threads you use your postal code numbers as first 3 ZIP code numbers and rest will work

I put my regular name, street number, and city then I put in the three numbers from my postal and added a 00 to make it five numbers long, and finally I put the state to match my newly formed zip code. If that doesn’t work, try changing the city to one that matches the state where your new zip code is.

Got the 24gb ram MBP and iPad Air, shipped to Delaware forwarder so no tax. Came out to 1270 so about 1700cad and add 100 to ship. sell the ipad for 800 easily and I get a very capable macbook for 1k. pretty sure the i5 16gb 2020 model mbp its replacing can sell for 1k giving me a free upgrade. if this ships, thanks a lot OP.

Thanks op.

Any recommendations on which forwarder to use? These are costly items and worried about using forwarders (first time). Looking for recommendations. Thanks.

Ordered the 5th gen iPad at my cousin's place in Seattle. Will make a trip from Vancouver BC if the items is actually shipped.

I wish this is real but scare of ordering due to tons of comments of tiger direct on trustpilot. Comment says it just take your money and holds it for 45days or so without actually shipping the orders. The price is too good to be true so I trusted the comments. Please prove me wrong because I do want to order a few things. LOL.
