I keep meaning to buy an Ice Cap this year and every time I go I end up getting a coffee (I like their regular or double/double over SBUX/McDonalds/Second Cup). I guess that's part of losing your sweet tooth as you age.
I will say though that their ice cap is almost half the price of a Starbucks Frapuccino and imo just as good if not better.
You now get 10 points for every dollar you spend.... BUT you need 400 points now to get a free coffee. That's absolutely insane. Who would think spending $40 to get 400 points for a free coffee is worth it?
Under the current reward system if you just went in for a coffee costing around $2 you would only need to visit 7 times to get 70 points costing maybe a bit more than $14. And I thought McDonald's new rewards system was crooked.
