[Tim Hortons] Tim Hortons: Free Holiday Skating (BC, AB, ON, QC, Yukon)

Time to gather the family together to work on those triple axels -- Tim Hortons is offering Free Holiday Skating in BC, Alberta, Ontario, Quebec and the Yukon this December and January!

You can view the full list of this year's participating locations and scheduling information for each province here.

Most Free Holiday Skating sessions appear to last 1-2 hours, more than enough time to work up an appetite for some hot chocolate and Timbits!

Very weird that it appears to only be in smaller areas--no Toronto, no Vancouver...

nothing for Ottawa either.... and with the weird weather maybe we wont have the canal either...BAH!
maybe its not available at local arenas in big cities because they charge too much rental fees, or the cities are too cheap to donate the time? (not sure if timmies pays for this or communities donate the rink time)

Here's the schedule for Hamilton from the Tourism Hamilton website. Also sponsored by Tim Horton's, so maybe due to the number of locations, they aren't listing it on their own website. :confused:

Last year they did NB, PEI, NL, and NS...maybe next year this will return? Nothing in Vancouver this year either, guess we'll just have to eat Tim Bits while wearing roller blades with the freezer open!

There's lots of Maritime locations listed in their list now. Still nothing for Ottawa, though.
