Are these two the same thing? Thought I could use the coupon for $1.99 breakfast sandwich and just pay an upcharge for the french toast instead of buying at regular price and it'd be same as the french toast breakfast sandwich. Hope it doesn't confuse the people making my order.

There seems to be very little information out there, but the latest I could find was an article in the Hamilton Spectator from October 2018 which stated "Self-service kiosks, which are already present at some locations in and around the Greater Toronto Area, will start to roll out more broadly early next year". But, 2019 has come and gone, and I suspect the roll-out hasn't really happened beyond the GTA...
There are kiosks in at least one Tim Hortons in Edmonton! :D The Timmys/Wendys by the U of A just got a few installed. I tried scanning the paper coupons while placing an order and it worked. No button that says "scan coupon", but just scanned it when the scanner lit up and it applied. Didn't follow through with the order so don't know if I'd have to surrender the coupon later to the cashier (doubt it). Also to select your own timbit flavours in the 10-pack, just go to the individual timbits screen and select 10 of your choice. It will show up as a 10-pack with your selections in check-out. Didn't try it for the donuts, but maybe it would work as well? :)

The kiosks are in some locations in Ottawa as well. Although couldn't get the QR code to work for some reason.

Went to another location to use the bagel and cream cheese coupon and somehow it came out to $1.90 (should have only been $1.04 max with tax). Somehow they were still charging for the cream cheese. Tried to play it off as tax...smh.
I had ordered an everything bagel and asked for herb and garlic cream cheese. I was told that would be $0.80 extra and that the coupon is for only plain cream cheese.... I looked dumbfounded... the price is for cream cheese, the coupon says cream cheese. I had already passed her the coupon, so I have no idea what the fine print says. I just got the plain cream cheese (which Im fine with anyways but found it pretty weird)

I had requested an everything bagel with just plain cream cheese too as they told me beforehand that's the only one that qualifies but the till still rang it in as $0.80 cents as well. Her and her supervisor could't override it. So I just left.

I was slow on checking my mail. Normally I am able to collect a ton of physical fast food coupons but by now recycle bin has been cleared out and everyone else has probably gone through their mail already closer to when these were released!

For those of you who want to generate a clean QR code to use on kiosks (or maybe some cashiers will let you scan your phone???), go to any QR code generating site, like https://www.qrcode-monkey.com/#text and enter your text:

So today at one store this stopped working (said coupon expired). I will try another store next time, but anyone else had problems with scanning these?

Calgary Sunridge Mall location (the building used to be Krispy Kreme) has kiosks.

Edmonton the recently renovated combo store across from the UofA hospital has kiosks now too.

Hmm, I just tried ($1 Timbits coupon), and it scanned just fine for me. The cashier made a remark that made me think the screen displays something about getting the coupon from customer, but I told her it was just on my phone, and she gave me the nod. I then proceeded to scan my rewards card, and then paid. No problems at all. Got -$1.39 discount, and +1 reward point. The printed coupon has an expiry date of Feb 11, so I'm not sure why you would see an indication that the coupon is expired...?!

Thanks! Will have to check it out when I'm in the area. I've driven by there plenty of times, but never stopped at that location. Looks like it's thriving, after converting from KK to TH!

I would give my right arm if KK came back to any location here (literally any location would've been better than that one).

Imagine eating a doughnut that was... just... made? LOL :)

Worked great for me this morning in Pickering. I used the “$5 for 2 Farmer's Breakfast Wraps” QR code.

And I scanned my Tims Rewards for a free XL Triple Triple coffee!

Win, win!!

I recently used the $0.99 classic muffin coupon at the kiosk. Thanks for posting the digital QR codes for the coupons btw. It worked as expected at the kiosk, adding the item, then scanning digital coupon, then digital rewards card to earn a point, then pay with digital tim card.

I noticed when ordering the muffin, there was an option for it to be heated (same with McDonald's kiosks) and add butter packets if you want. Didn't know you could do that.

I'll like to give a big thank you to the OP and others who have gone out of their way to scan the coupons and provided codes! I have used the Timbits QR codes a few times over the weekend with no issues.

Much appreciated!

Today, the cashier said I cannot use the scanned code and have to give her the paper coupon.
Anyone else has this problem?

NOPE...simply go to another Timmies. I've used it 4 times in the last 24hrs ( 1 x 6 donuts, and 3 x timbits) for a work function

I dont think it is unreasonable to allow you to just scan the code.
If they are serious about self serve machines, they should allow you to scan QR code with the machine too. And they then will definitely have to allow you to use scanned version.
