Loved the sequel Jagged Alliance 2 (so many memorable voice quotes and those answering machine messages especially Bun's answering machine message..Muhahah) but never played the original. Randomly was checking to see what's new in the franchise and found out that this game is given away for free before Sept 23/2021.




If you liked Fallout 2 well JA2 is similar but more realistic. The gameplay is unique in that is it not completely turn-based. It is a mix of real time and turn based. What I mean by that is (if anyone played it before you know what I mean) in that you can move about and have inturrupts while in combat allowing you or the enemy to move while it is you/thier turn to move. Like if you're hiding by a window and you shoot else where away from your posistion to draw movement there and if the enemy passes your MERC by the window you get a chance to engage.
