TLC's So Freakin Cheap

After Extreme Cheapskate's, didn't think TLC would try another show like that. I was wrong. There's So Freakin Cheap, their new show.

New cast and some recurring cast members in this version. Like Shelley who had her daughter's wedding in the school's gym

Tender Loving Care

"In 1998, the channel began to distance itself from its original name "The Learning Channel", and instead began to advertise itself only as "TLC". During this period, there was a huge shift in content, with most new programming being geared towards reality-drama and interior design shows. The huge success of shows like Trading Spaces, Junkyard Wars, A Wedding Story, and A Baby Story exemplified this new shift in programming towards more mass-appeal shows."

TLC — previously known as The Learning Channel — has redefined what it stands for and embraced the well-known colloquial phrase “tender loving care” in a bid to connect its heartwarming programming with viewers in a more emotional fashion. As part of the rebranding, TLC will unveil a multimillion-dollar campaign with the tagline “Everyone needs a little TLC.”

The other TLC gave society fair warning of the scrubs that populate a fair portion of the cable TLC programming

They are actually smart. They film these reality shows and pay the "cast" very little.

I think they live in Nevada so the back yard would be around 100 degrees F :)
