It seems my toilet paper from 2018 will run out in a few months, hopefully there will be a good sale sometime this year.

Canada, eh?
I've been recently using Canadian Tire's FRANK Double Roll Toilet Paper, 40-pk for $18.99

https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/fran ... 30404.html

RFD's Toilet Paper Cost calculator is telling me it's a good deal: $0.0173 per sq. ft/$1.8765 per 1000 sheets...based on $18.99, 40 rolls, 253 sheets per roll, and 3.93 in x 3.98 in sheet dimensions.

Times are uncertain, so i am not really updating the sales as they fly off the shelves. If you are happy with kirkland brand then that's your best bet, if you prefer charmin you can gauge the pricing by whats posted historically.

I have added your brand of toilet paper to the first post and ranked it.

Good thread, but it is so confusing for me.

The Royale Bathroom tissue sometimes comes with coupons on the package. You can cut them out. In the last year:
1) I bought 2 Royale 30pks for $20 to get a $5 coupon in the mail by uploading a receipt. Some sort of pet charity drive.
royale-buy-20-any-royale-products-recei ... r-2398017/
2) There is sometimes a Royale Original or Royale Valeour $1 coupon on the package

I always get the next Royale toilet paper with another coupon.

Just got the Costco April-May flyer:

Cashmere/Purex Premium, 40 rolls, 250 sheets:
$16.99 in the West, $5 off. Comes out to $0.001699 per sheet.

Compared to Royale Velour 24=48 rolls, 142 sheets at No Frills: $7.97 with PCO and $8.97 without. Comes out to $0.0023 per sheet with PCO.

I’ve always doubted Costco toilet paper prices because of the bigger rolls making it seem more costly. Turns out Costco is usually cheaper than the best grocery store weekly deals on toilet paper. No wonder everyone hoards toilet paper at Costco.

Generally yes, Costco has the better prices. But sometimes you can score a better price somewhere else too - and since you mentioned PCO here's a deal to keep an eye out for next time:

A couple weeks ago (Mar 11-17) Loblaws had Cashmere 2-ply 12 rolls 242 sheets for $4.99 + 2,000 PC Optimum points back. There was no limit at the store I went to.

Comes out to 0.00103 per sheet if you value 2k points at a straight $2.
