I meant to say Lg C9 55inch.
I currently have the Lg C8 55inch and paid 1600$ for it.
Whats the best I can get for a C9 55inch? That I can buy from Quebec online or locally?
Today is my last day to do any return and exchange at bestbuy.

IF you are not in a rush, return the C8 and wait for black friday to get the C9 at a lower price.

ah well, I'm mostly using the C8 for movies which it does better but the gaming stuff on the C9 is pretty great.

While it would be preferable for nVidia to adapt HDMI 2.1 into its spec altogether, this is at least an intermediary step so that you don't have to necessarily wait for an HDMI 2.1 video card in order to use VRR (with a 2019 LG OLED). Of course, it also makes it more proprietary to nVidia, so there's that too. But better than nothing I suppose.

NVIdia will gladly use HDMI 2.1 as an excuse to get you to buy a brand new card. They would be crazy to pass out on everyone upgrading by putting a patch to get 2.1 working on older cards.Alexandero2 wrote: ↑ I had no idea, that's awesome to hear (I think).

Yeah, but I could also see them NOT adopting HDMI 2.1 on their next cards in an effort to maintain VRR limited to their own gsync brand.
