Solid list!

I was toying putting Joker on my list, but the only thing it had going for me was a solid lead performance - all the other aspects of the film felt recycled and unoriginal for me - and I needed more than just that.

Your list is good too, glad to see no super hero movies :-P. I put Joker on because I really liked the style and cinmetography, as well of course Joaquin Phoenix's performance.

I have high hopes for Uncut Gems and 1917 as well. I've also started a best of the decade list, but I didn't log my movies as well as I have recently, so I am sure I am forgetting some.

Brightburn was a guilty pleasure superhero movie but all of the big budget blockbusters numb me - I thought last year's Spiderman into the Spiderverse was superb though.
I found far too many similarities from better movies (The King of Comedy, Requiem for a Dream, etc) to see originality in Joker.

Mine would include The Irishman, Avengers Endgame, The Professor, Spiderman Far From Home, Knives Out, Fast Color, Once Upon A Time in Hollywood, Yesterday. Considering the length of The Irishman it is really tempting to include bingable ltd series in the mix, especially Chernobyl and Mandalorian.
Haven't seen JoJo Rabbit, Parasite, Joker, 1917, Rise of Skywalker yet.

SPOILER

I liked when Gyllenhaal's character gives the big reveal - that was solid.

It's pretty Twilight-Zone-y with a great performance by Gugu Mbatha-Raw.

Uncut gems.....didn't really like it. So much yelling from start to end and I just couldn't see past waterboy in Sandler's character
