You dont need to spend it. You can get a gift card for later.

1. Login to your account that has the top up bonus.
2. https://www.chapters.indigo.ca/en-ca/giftcards
3. Add $10 electronic card to cart.
4. Redeem points
5. Recipient email can be the same as the account email.

You can always Live chat with an Indigo representative. This morning an Indigo rep gave me 3500 points to top up because I didn't get the email. Just told him my friends did, and he did the rest for me. I Used my 8500 (topped up from ~5000) to buy a 20$ gift card.

First time I felt the need to share so this is a new account. long time lurker (if anyone cares lol).
