Toro 12" 60v Power Shovel

Does anyone happen to have Toro's Power Shovel? Looking to get some actual feedback on the machine.

I live in Toronto so we dont get too much snow. I absolutely loath manually shovelling snow from the driveway. A snow thrower seems like overkill for the amount of snow we get, let alone a snow blower. Plus the storage footprint is a big concern. Between a lawn mower and backyard furniture there's not enough available storage space in the garage.

A big part of snow removal is directing the snow to where you want it to go.. I feel with this you are limited to just throwing it in front.. plus you better get to it right away.. not sure how this handles wet/heavy snow.. don't think this will do anything for windrows.

I had a neighbour use one of these. It looked absolutely ridiculous when he used it because of how small it is. It wasn't this brand and I couldn't see what it was but it was a similar size. It threw the snow far enough and looked like it could handle the entire driveway (2 cars long). The 12" width seems to be the downside. He made many passes to clear the driveway. I could clear mine much faster with a shovel that is much lighter to carry around. But he was definitely one that hated to shovel and probably got the power shovel when his car got stuck in his unshovelled driveway.

One thing to note, his driveway is actually a shared driveway. For some reason, he didn't want to shovel towards his grass. He blew it all over the neighbour's part of the driveway, which was already shovelled. Then he cleared it to his neighbour's grass. I'm not sure why he did this but the thing didn't have the power to throw the snow clear across. You'll also likely have to manage the power setting if your neighbour's driveway is close so that it doesn't overthrow on to it. So plan your route if you want to minimize snow being thrown in places you don't want.

Honestly, if you don't have that much to shovel then a pusher shovel would be so much faster. You'll make half the required passes as the power shovel since it'll be twice as wide and be a 1/10 of the cost. But if you didn't mind being outside longer and taking it easy with the power shovel then it could work pretty well for you.
