woops didn't realize this was a repost..... by the way, it appears that priceline's pricing is the same in CDN dollars as it is in US$ for this deal.

Too bad it's not 2008. Good deal otherwise.
The name is pronounced El‧u‧àr‧do. I am the ultimate deal hunter, y'all just gatherers. I was the first openly black man to get a Costco membership.

If you can get a stopover in Helsinki, it would be an interesting place to visit. Otherwise, because it's cheap?

Having said that - a week isn't a very long time to go for, especially when you're taking the long way to get there (total travel time each way is 20 hours!)

Helsinki not all that interesting

2 x 8HR flight isn't too bad, but both being red-eye sucks

exactly my thoughts. you're spending almost 2 days out of 7 to travel, considering the strong USD you're not actually saving much.

I am holding a Chinese passport. Do I have to get a visa to take this deal?

I'm pretty sure that Chinese citizens don't need a visa to enter China. But I've heard of crazier things. :)

Thanks....

What I meant if someone holds a Chinese passport, does he need a visa to go to the Helsinki airport?

On a layover, as long as you don't leave the airport, no you should not need one. According to this page, only a handful of countries need transit visas, and China isn't one of them.
